XCM was started by Adrienne and John Hall in 1996. The first class was held in Llandudno in North Wales, increasing to four classes across North Wales by 1997.

Following this growth, and encouraged by the successful results achieved, Adrienne and John during 1999 decided to expand their business through franchising. The aim being to make their classes available to more students across the country.

XCM was awarded the Shell Livewire award in 1998, for the best new business start-up, followed by the Sole Trader Initiative award in 1999 which was presented by Peter Hain.

Adrienne has now, in 2006, joined with Colin Roberts to promote the franchise side of the business.
Colin has been, and continues to be, a successful and committed franchisee himself, and together with Adrienne aims to promote and extend the availability of the XCM system to many more Students and Tutors, that they may benefit from our proven system.
